Compass Management & Consulting has been proud to serve the Florida Society of Pathology since March 2016.
The Challenge: Before signing on with Compass, FSP had seen a plateau in its membership numbers, along with little financial growth and limited educational offerings.
The Outcome: After being approached by FSP in January 2016, Compass quickly got to work on formulating a plan to inject some much-needed new energy into the organization. Within the first year, under the direction of CMC, FSP was able to increase the society’s income by 50% while decreasing expenses by 15%. With Compass’ expert approach to membership association marketing, meeting planning and education, FSP has grown its membership by 15% and exponentially improved engagement with its members. The Society’s two meetings, the Annual Pathology Conference and the Summer Pathology Conference, have seen an increase in attendance – both in membership and exhibitors. The growth has led to a very stable, upward trending bottom line for FSP.
Compass Management and Consulting has made a dramatic positive difference for our state medical society, the Florida Society of Pathologists (FSP), in the less than three years since the transition. From the day I met the group as then president of the FSP until today, I have been impressed with their integrity, dedication, professionalism, and expertise. Our board members and general members have been very pleased with the results. At the time FSP moved to Compass Management & Consulting, our society had significant problems with membership, conference planning, IT and cash flow. The group and its talented staff have provided the needed depth of support and expertise in these areas. Compass Management & Consulting is a pleasure to work with and has met or exceeded expectations.
